Tasting notes

This is a step up from those who normally drink Pinot Noir as it is a medium bodied wine with a subtle nose of earth and cherries. On the palate there is a great burst of cherry fruit. The Mataro and Cabernet rounds out the wine and gives it the earthiness and structure to hold up well with some poultry and BBQ.

Rating

Light red. Spicy red berries and dried flowers on the nose, with a light kiss of white pepper. Brisk and tangy, displaying vivid strawberry and raspberry flavors and no tannic edge. Finishes clean, brisk and long, with lingering sweetness. This is drinking very well now. -Stephen Tanzer Light and fragrant, with a slightly earthy note weaving through the transparent raspberry flavors. Grenache, Mataro and Cabernet Sauvignon.
